Minecraft came out on PS4 and as I watched my boyfriend play it all I could think was “I really want to play that!!” I have been avoiding Minecraft like it was the plague because I know myself, I am addicted to games that allow me to just create my own story.
I didn’t go through the tutorial portion of the game, I just decided to jump right in and learn how to play the game. I spent time finding just the right spot to build my house. Once I leveled off the area (which is conveniently placed between two mines) I started harvesting for cobblestone because I wanted to have the base set up with stone. I then went to harvest for wood and started building it, before I was asked “Why aren’t you building it with wood planks?” which caused me to start all over because I realized that it was more efficient that way.
Since I laid out the first set of wooden planks I now have a three story fortress with a sunroom on the third level, a wrap-around balcony, and I absolutely adore it. I also have sheep, chickens, cows, and some pigs. But my most wonderful addition is my little Minecraft puppy family. When I got my first lovely puppy I was super excited, but he was missing something; he needed a friend. It took me a very long while until I found the wolf that could join our little pack and she was a wonderful addition. Then I learned a very important thing: BREEDING. When I learned I could expand my little pack I freaked out (I actually squealed when that beautiful little puppy there was born into my little world!!)
If you haven’t checked out Minecraft yet PLEASE give it a try, it has been worth the $19.99 I paid for it on PSN. I will probably update with more Minecraft adventures but for now just look at that adorable little wolf pack of mine.
